POLS 410 - International Security Discusses the major theories of war and peace. Encompasses a study of international crisis, conflict, war, and strategies for managing conflicts. Covers critical security studies to understand the challenges of the assumptions underpinning traditional security studies. Diverse topics including environmental security, global human security, and international terrorism will be studied with a view of focusing on the changing nature of international security. Prerequisites RHET
201 and POLS 320. (3 cr.)
