PHYS 319 - Digital Logic Design The nature of digital logic and numbering systems. Boolean algebra, Karnaugh map, decision-making elements, memory elements, latches, flip-flops, design of combinational and sequential circuits, integrated circuits and logic families, shift registers, counters and combinational circuits, adders, subtracters, multiplication and division circuits, memory types. Exposure to logic design automation software. Prerequisites Prerequisites: CSCE 106. Concurrent with PHYS 309L. Cross-listed Same as CSCE 230 and EENG 210.
