JRMC 542 - News & Current Affairs Programming Introduces students to the theory and practice of broadcast news programming. Students will learn about the history and evolution of television news formats in the West and the Arab world, the difference between news and various types of current affairs broadcasts, how story lineups are developed, anchoring techniques, and studio operations. Prerequisites Prerequisites: JRMC 537 and 541. When Offered Offered in spring. (3 cr.)
