EGPT 341 - Egypt in the Late Period The course will examine the factors that lay behind the collapse of the New Kingdom state and the rise of the Libyan and Nubian dynasties that dominated Egypt from 1200 to 332 BC. Special attention will be devoted to the last dynasties of the Pharaonic tradition, Dynasties XXI-XXX. Prerequisites Prerequisite: EGPT/HIST 343 and 344, or instructor’s consent.
