EENG 455 - Computer Architecture The objectives of this course are to introduce the principles of Modern Computer Architecture and design. Topics to be discussed include Instruction Set Architectures, Arithmetic Logic Unit design, CPU data path design, CPU pipelining, memory hierarchy, cache and virtual memory, and introduction to I/O. Prerequisites Prerequisites: EENG 210, 352, concurrent with EENG 458L. Cross-listed Same as CSCE 330. When Offered Offered in fall and spring. (3 cr.)
