EDUC 581 - Classroom Discourse Analysis for Learners and Teachers


MA students in the Pre-K—12 concentration will learn about different approaches to the analysis of discourse in various classroom settings, including principles, practices, terminology, and theoretical underpinnings. They will select and apply one approach to an actual classroom situation by designing a study, collecting and analyzing data, reporting on results, and interpreting their findings.
 
Prerequisites
EDUC 511 and EDUC 521.
