EDUC 512 - Quantitative Research & Applied Statistics in Education This course will extend the knowledge acquired by students in the EDUC 511 course by providing students with an understanding of quantitative research in education, including research design, methods of data collection and analysis, reporting and interpreting results and drawing conclusions. There will be an emphasis on the use of statistics in applied educational research settings. This course is required of all students registered in the International Education Policy & Planning concentration. It may also be selected by MA candidates in other concentrations if relevant to the design of their capstone project.
Prerequisites EDUC 511 and EDUC 521. (3 cr.)
