ECON 318 - Introduction to Econometrics The course covers the General Linear Regression Model. Topics include: departures from the basic assumptions of the general model: multicollinearity, autocorrelation, heteroskedasticity, errors in variables, dynamic systems and distributed lag models, the identification problem, estimation of structural equations. Assignments include applications to real world examples. Prerequisites Prerequisite: ECON 218 and 316. When Offered Offered in fall and spring. (3 cr.)
