CSCE 230 - Digital Logic Design The nature of digital logic and numbering systems. Boolean algebra, Karnaugh map, decision-making elements, memory elements, latches, flip-flops, design of combinational and sequential circuits, integrated circuits and logic families, shift registers, counters and combinational circuits, adders, subtracters, multiplication and division circuits, memory types. Exposure to Logic Design automation software. The laboratory component will cover experiments in digital electronics. Prerequisites Prerequisite: CSCE 106. Cross-listed Same as PHYS 319, EENG 210.
