Mathematics Minor

Students majoring in the Science & Engineering School need to complete all of the following:

- MACT 240/2132 - Linear Algebra (3 cr.)  

- MACT 233/2141 - Differential Equations (3 cr.)  

- One 4000 level MACT course

- Two courses from the following set of courses:

• MACT 200/2131 - Discrete Mathematics (3 cr.)  
• and all other 3000-4000 level MACT courses

Students majoring in Economics need to complete all of the following:

- MACT 210/2222 - Statistics for Business (3 cr.)  

- MACT 240/2132 - Linear Algebra (3 cr.)  

- ECON 316/3061 - Mathematics for Economists II (3 cr.)  

- Two courses from the following set of courses:

• ECON 416/4061 - Mathematical Economics (3 cr.)   
• and all 3000-4000 level MACT courses

All other students need to complete all of the following:

- MACT 131/1121 - Calculus I (3 cr.)  

- MACT 210/2222 - Statistics for Business (3 cr.)  

- Three other MACT courses (excluding MACT 1111 , MACT 1112  and MACT 1930 )
