Description A history of architecture and urbanism from the enlightenment to our present day. Introduction to the historical development of twentieth-century and twenty-first architecture and urbanism globally, including its social, technological, and conceptual aspects. Special emphasis on studying different paradigms, individual architects, buildings, and theoretical writings. Traditional, local vernacular, and contemporary vernacular architecture are also studied.
