ACCT 502 - Cost Analysis and Control This course focuses on the design and assessment of various cost management and control systems. The emphasis is on building a general framework for choosing among alternative cost systems for operational control and product cost and profitability measurement. The course covers recent conceptual and analytical developments in the area of management accounting; including a study of modern and relevant planning and control techniques and their underlying concepts as applied to various functional areas within the firm.
