ALIN 209-210 - Intermediate Listening and Speaking Develops students’ listening skills while expanding their vocabulary in wide range topics and increases their ability to speak and comprehend details by using selected authentic video and audio tapes. Hours Each course meets three or five hours per week When Offered Offered in fall and spring. Notes Prerequisites are not listed for every course. However, entry into all intermediate and advanced presupposes that the student is of intermediate or advanced standing. The instructor’s permission may also be required. Standing will be determined by written and/or oral placement tests for incoming students and sometimes for continuing students.
