ANTH 3302 - Anthropologies of Africa (3 cr.)
Prerequisites Three hours of Social Sciences.
Description Analysis of contemporary debates in anthropological engagements with and in Africa. The course explores the histories of ethnographic research in Africa, colonialism and post-independence experiences, power and representation, performance and the arts, religious sensibilities and kinship networks.
