ENGR 2412 - General Programming Lab (1 cr.)
Prerequisites MACT 1121
Description This lab is intended for students with no programming background. It teaches students problem-solving via the principle of programming and computing employing MATLAB. Topics covered include data types, arithmetic, scripts, user- defined functions, inputs, outputs, conditionals, loops, arrays, and modular programming. An emphasis is given to the visualization and graphical representation. Basics of software engineering introduced (code maintenance, debugging, and documentation). Accuracy and speed are discussed as limitations of engineering/scientific computation.
