MENG 2601 - Fluid Mechanics Fundamentals (3 cr.)
Prerequisites PHYS 1021 and ENGR 2104
Description Fluid properties and fluid statics. Fluid flow, Euler’s and Bernoulli’s equations, Conservation of continuity, momentum, and energy. Laminar and turbulent flows, Reynolds number, closed conduit flow and secondary losses, and pipe networks. Fundamental flow measurements.
