SOC/ANTH 5289 - Comprehensives (0 cr.)
Description This course provides a forum for an independent review of the main concepts of the program’s core subject areas in preparation for the comprehensive examination. The student will take a written examination at the conclusion of the course and must receive a passing grade to be successful. An oral examination may be required in addition to the written examination. The comprehensive examination may be repeated once. A student who fails the comprehensive examination a second time would be dismissed from the degree program at the end of the semester in which the examination was retaken.
