GHHE 000/6100 - Contemporary Challenges in Global Health I (3 cr.)
Description This course deals with contemporary and timely issues relevant to global health, particularly in Egypt, MENA and Africa. These include, and are not limited to, poverty, hunger, malnutrition, stunted growth, sex inequality, maternal and child health. Relying on the instructor and student interest, the course integrates science, engineering, medicine, the social and behavioral sciences, and policy to provide a comprehensive picture of the subject matter, aligned with the Sustainability Developmental Goals (SDG) of 2030.
