ENTR 413/3102 - Entrepreneurship and Innovation (3 cr.)
Prerequisites MGMT 3201 or BADM 2001
Description This is an interdisciplinary course combining skills from all areas of business. It focuses on the creation of new business ventures with an emphasis on personal rather than corporate goals. Special focus is placed on problems encountered by the entrepreneurs in the Middle East and development of solutions to those problems. The course also prepares students for intrapreneur or entrepreneur business careers in startups and small and large corporations. It offers and understanding of the stages of business formation and what activities are appropriate at each stage of business development to meet financial goals including preparations of feasibility studies for business start-ups.
