Prerequisites ENTR 413/4102 - Entrepreneurship and Innovation (3 cr.)
Description The course is designed for business students; in a quest to understand the role of innovation and technology in entrepreneurial organizations as well as in society. The course will cover the different types of innovation in an organization with a special focus on business model innovation. The concept of technology will be addressed through understanding the fundamentals of product/service and process innovation as well as technology management in prominent organizations. Also the concept of intellectual property rights management and protection as well as new product/service development will be covered as contemporary concepts affecting the organizational effectiveness.
