MOIS 3201  and MACT 2222  and CSCE 1101  

Description
This course emphasizes the value of integration between information systems in modern organizations. This is achieved by having different computing systems and software applications linked in seamless physical and/or functional integration. The focus of the course is on the wide range of technologies available today as well as the methodologies of data analytics for solving Big Data problems. This course explores the role of business analytics in supporting decision making and setting strategies at the highest levels. Students will be exposed to the analytical skills needed to turn big data into a strategic resource. Academic partnerships with IBM will allow students to access a suite of software tools from the industry and receive critical workforce training.
