The Diploma program is designed for qualified teachers of English who meet the same admission requirements as those for the Master of Arts degree. To be awarded the diploma, students must successfully complete the following 18 credits of program requirements.

Required Courses (12 credits)
Elective Courses (6 credits)
Two three-hour additional courses to be decided upon by the student in consultation with the academic adviser. A maximum of one appropriate course may be accepted
With departmental approval, as transfer credit toward the Diploma in lieu of the following: |
