The Premedical track is open for all AUC undergraduate students. The track provides basic biological and physical science courses that prepare students for admission into medical schools abroad. Most US and Canadian medical schools require completion of a Bachelor degree that includes the required courses for admission. The liberal art education at AUC provides the well-rounded education required by medical schools.
Premedical students will have to fulfill all requirements for a degree in their major and those of the premedical track. Premedical students are assigned an advisor from the Department of Biology to guide with course requirements for medical school admissions, Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), medical school applications and extracurricular activities
