ACCT 211 - Financial Accounting Accounting as an information system, with emphasis on concepts and assumptions underlying data accumulation for financial reports. This course covers basic financial accounting principles for a business enterprise. Topics include the accounting cycle, merchandising accounts, asset valuation, income measurement, partnership accounting, and corporate accounting. Prerequisites Prerequisite: MATH 112. When Offered Offered in fall and spring. Notes Enrollment in is limited, and priority is given to students seeking the Bachelor of Business Administration degree or the Bachelor of Accounting degree, students enrolling in specified as collateral requirements in other majors, and students who have declared business administration as a minor.
