DSGN 201/2201 - Design Principles & Practices (3 cr.)
Prerequisites
Description This course encourages students to apply previously acquired knowledge of fundamental principles of graphic design to effectively communicate concepts in a visual representation that range from two-dimensional images to three-dimensional objects and site-specific installations. Through research, class exercises and critique, technical workshop, and design projects, students will learn to develop work plans and explore with cross-disciplinary expressions, production techniques, and materials in order to achieve communication goals.
