CENG 000/3011 - Electrical and Mechanical Systems for Construction Engineering (4 cr.)
Prerequisites ARCH 3562 , CENG 2511
Description A study of electrical and mechanical systems used in both residential and commercial construction. Lectures cover the basic principles of electrical distribution, artificial lighting, fire protection, plumbing systems and heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Course content will include system design, component selection and utilization for energy conservation. Techniques of application and installation will be included as well as site visits and workshops.
