EDUC 533/5212 - Comparative Gender, Youth, and Human Development Policy (3 cr.)
Description This course will explore gender, youth, and human development policy from a global perspective. The course will examine issues of gender with regard to social and education disparities, as well as women’s rights in comparative and international perspectives. It will also target the changing roles of youth in society and their rights and responsibilities. Particular attention will be given to the relationships between educational practices, systems, and policies and their relationship to life-work outcomes.
