Description
This course continues exploring the world of bilingual typography (Arabic and Latin) through the study of essential typographic elements and principles while discussing typographic functions and critical theoretical issues. It will introduce students to advanced typesetting for diverse media and content with correct kerning, special characters, ligatures, and other typographical details in a print and digital layout. Studies will include typographic matching between Arabic and Latin typography. Additionally, students will be introduced to the essential components of multilingual typography.
