BIOT 502/5202 - Cell and Molecular Biology (3 cr.)
Description This course is designed to introduce the student to structure and function of the basic unit of life, the cell. This includes organelle biogenesis, cytoskeleton and cell motility, protein and lipid trafficking, membrane and ion transport, energy flow within the cell, cell cycle, division, and programmed cell death. In addition, to the passage of information from gene to protein will be addressed.
