Description The course offers analysis of the economics of information technology, knowledge and intellectual property. Topics include: electronic readiness, knowledge measurement indices, the digital divide; economics of content: knowledge as a public good, static and dynamic costs and benefits of intellectual property rights; competition and intellectual property; open business models, innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital economy.
