EDUC 564/5243 - Policy and administration in Higher Education (3 cr.)
Description This course provides an overview of both the organizational theories associated with higher education and the trends and practices in policy and administration of higher education. The course begins with the role of governance and how it influences organizational structure, policy and leadership. In addition, the course provides comparative knowledge on the impact of policies and organizational structures on recourse allocation, learning outcomes, student satisfaction, labor market satisfaction and other characteristics.
