Description This module looks at how competition law fits in a larger context of economic policy. It covers the development and rationale for international competition law for firms, with reference to developing countries’ competition law as well as relevant provisions in the Egyptian competition policy and covers agreements between firms (cartels, joint ventures, mergers), monopolization, and public enforcement of law by competition authorities, private enforcement in the courts and the coordination of private and public enforcement.
