ENTR 203/2101 - Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (3 cr.)
Description This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to the concept of entrepreneurship as well as the specificities of managing a small business compared to a large one. The student will develop a general understanding of entrepreneurship as an economic activity and the role it plays as a catalyst of economic growth and social development. The personal traits and behaviors, and the organizational characteristics associated with successful entrepreneurship will be analyzed and discussed. The student will also be introduced to different organizational aspects and managerial activities related to launching and managing a small business.
