ECON 218 - Statistics for Economists The course covers the general theory of estimation. Topics include: sampling distributions, testing hypotheses about the difference between two means, analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation and simple regression analysis, nonparametric statistics including Chi-squared & Index numbers. Prerequisites Prerequisite: MACT 112. When Offered Offered in fall and spring. (3 cr.)
