MPEN 037 - Piping Analysis By CAESAR II


Description/Outline This course provides participants with training in performing piping stress analysis by using CAESAR II software. The introduction to the course covers a basic background of codes and standards, support, flexibility, and the main features of piping stress analysis software. Then, the course covers all phases of CAESAR II use, including modeling, performing static analysis, reviewing results, performing equipment code check, dynamic analysis, and designing spring supports and expansion joints, underground pipes, and steel structures. The course will include on-screen lecturing, examples, typical problem solving, and hands-on training using the program.
