Description/Outline This course introduces the main concepts of project management, including how to set objectives, estimate resource requirements and plan each project phase. Course Outline • Concept of project management • Estimating resources requirements • Network techniques: nodes, arrows, activity, event • CPM, PERT, Precedence Diagramming • Network calculations, gantt charts • Resource loading and leveling • Least cost scheduling • Time-cost trade-offs • Targeting, updating and float trend analyses • Project performance evaluation • Line of balance • Computerized systems • Case studies.
