Eligibility Criteria for Mathematics Major Declaration from Within

To be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program candidates must have completed the below criteria courses with an overall GPA of at least 3.0.

Required Courses to be completed to declare Mathematics as a major

• MACT 1121 - Calculus I (3 cr.)  with a minimum grade of A-
• MACT 1122 - Calculus II (3 cr.)  with a minimum grade of A-

OR

• MACT 1121 - Calculus I (3 cr.)  with a minimum grade of B
• MACT 1122 - Calculus II (3 cr.)  with a minimum grade of B
• MACT 2131 - Discrete Mathematics (3 cr.)  with a minimum grade of B+
