In the fall semester of 2008, the university enrolled 6,064 students in all of its academic programs. During the 2007 - 2008 fiscal year 42,179* individuals were served by the non-credit programs and courses in the School of Continuing Education.

Graduates

The American University in Cairo awarded 688 bachelor’s degrees and 274 master’s degrees in the academic year 2007 - 2008. Of the 688 undergraduate degrees, 89 were awarded with honors, 93 with high honors, and 73 with highest honors.
