ECON 216 - Mathematics for Economists I Calculus of a single variable. Composite functions, limits and asymptotes, continuity, differentiation, Taylor’s theorem, maxima and minima and points of inflexion, logarithmic and exponential functions, integration. Applications to economic theory and business finance. MACT 131 and MACT 132 are not equivalent to ECON 216. Prerequisites Prerequisite: MACT 100 or equivalent.
